Q1. Where did you get your first tattoo and do you
know by who?
A. I got my first tattoo in Berkeley ca
at wicked, which is a weird little tattoo shop/clothing store.
I am not sure what the guys name was, but id definitely remember
him if I saw him again.
Q2. What was going through your mind when you got your first
tattoo?
A. I am crazy! my mom is
going to kill me! I am so excited! oooh it hurts so good!
(all those thoughts were going through my head all at once.)
Q3. Is there a meaning behind your first tattoo and what is it if
you care to share?
A. umm...my first tattoo (blue nautical
stars on my lower back) was a Christmas present from my sister. so it definitely
reminds me of her, so I guess that's the extent of their meaning.
Q4. What is your favorite tattoo, where is it and why?
A. my pumpkin. its on my forearm,
and I love it the most because it incorporates a few of my favorite
things; Halloween, sewing, nightmare before Christmas, roman dirge and
my tattoo artist Jason Tyler grace. my second favorite is the key hole
cause it is symbolic...ya know the whole key to my heart crossed with
the fact that it is my McKee hole...lol get it?
Q5. What advice can you give people who are looking to get ink for
the first time?
A. sheesh...really think hard about what
you want. I know that's what everyone says, but seriously. there
have been a few tattoos that I may have not gotten had I really planned
ahead about what I want. sometimes you might want a mural, but don't
necessarily want to
incorporate that piece of flash into it. oh and stay away from
those home made kitchen tattoos...
