What made you want to become a Piercer?
I wanted to get involved in the Body Modification Industry to over
come my FEAR of NEEDLES! (True Story) Not much to say, It all just came naturally. It was just an ear lobe
on a friend. Afterwards It felt like I've been doing this I whole life. I was excited that someone would put there TRUST into me to
perform something I was once afraid of. My (10) eyebrow Piercings. It always get a good reaction to those not
use to seeing something so Extreme. Sadly, but Yes! A female client asked to have the webbing in between
her toes Pierced! I had to turn her away, before so telling her A Corset. Actually the 1st Corset I got to do. I was not sure how
good the out come would be. It has such a feminine look, It was like no
other Piercing I've ever done. Play Piercings on my Girlfriend. We put (30) in the top of her left
forearm. We did it all for pictures and shock value. So people are
scarred of One Piercing, We just wanted to show everyone that 1 isn't so
bad. Anything that goes against Ethics. As much as I love money, I
don't feel doing something that can't heal properly is Right. I love my
customers. We all should, its because of them our Lifestyles are
possible. No Way! I spend all my money with company's willing to back
into our Industry or take away from it!
Depends on where you want to take your career. You first need to
establish a home base cliental before attempting to take it on the road.
As it goes just for attending, well everyone Possible in my opinion! Make friends with the local shop you are comfortable with. First become a regular client and get the feel of the industry from the clients perspective. Once you're on a familiar basis with your local shop, then talk them about what could be your next step into this Industry. You can't expect to just wake up one day a Tattoo Artist or a Body Piercer! Its a long process if done correctly! |
