BAW: What made you want to become a Tattoo
Artist?
Artist: I always to be one, it was really hard in Colombia.
I'm not saying that it was easy, but I'm sure easier than in Colombia.
BAW: Who are your influences?
Artist: Frazeta, Alex Ross, Benjamin Moss, Robert Hernandez.....
BAW: What is your favorite style of work?
Artist: Robert Hernandez
BAW: Tell us about your first Tattoo experience?
Artist: it was Dope! Everybody was super supportive...
BAW: What is your favorite piece you own?
Artist: Eye on my chest.
BAW: What is your most memorable Tattoo given and why?
Artist: "the Stringer" a painting from the artist Brom, is
on my friend Cury.
BAW: Is there a part of the body you won't Tattoo and why?
Artist: no.
BAW: Do you support supply co. that sells to the
public?
Artist: I rather having people scratching other people with the right
needles and tubes than having people spreading diseases with guitar
strings and Walkman motors.
BAW: Do you feel there now should be mandatory schooling for soon to
be tattoo
artists?
Artist: NO.
BAW: Do you feel Tattooing has changed over the
years, and if so why?
Artist: Absolutely, is incredible what you now can see on peoples
skin. We aren't tight to the hard line and whip shading anymore.
BAW: Do you think it is important to do as many
conventions and shows as possible?
Artist: for an Artist who want to grow, yes. Is
important to get to know other persons technique, and expose your work
as much as you can, then people will notice your evolution.
BAW: What advise can you give to someone who is
starting or looking to get into the tattoo business?
Artist: Don't give up, show them you really want to do this, proof
yourself.
BAW: What could you say to someone who has had a
bad first experience?
Artist: Don't be a pussy.
BAW: Since you have started what changes have
you seen in the industry?
Artist: I haven't been in the industry for too long, to answer that
question.
BAW: How do you feel about apprenticeships?
Artist: I think they are very helpful, and if you have the opportunity
of having one don't turn it down. didn't have one.
BAW: Where do you think the Tattoo Industry is
going today? Do you think it is getting
better or worse?
Artist: I think is evolving beautifully. Is going hand and hand with
art.
