the
world of
Uncle Tim
Some tattoo artists are humble.
Some tattoo artists are pretentious and pretend to be something they are
not. Some are polite and some are rude. Some are hellaciously skilled
and some should take up cabinet making because they absolutely suck at
tattooing. Some are born with tremendous talent and some have to struggle
to get where they are. Either way you should know who to throw your hard
earned money at. Usually these artists are the ones who show a reverent
respect for the trade. If you want to know who these people are.....ask your
artist what they have given to the trade lately.
My gifts to this trade have been,
first and foremost, to do the most absolutely beautiful tattoo I can each
and every time I put one in. Other things I have given to this trade are writing
informative articles and columns and features in Skin&Ink magazine for two
years. These include articles on safety, product evaluation and easier
lettering tips. In my 10 plus years of tattooing experience I have encouraged
several upcoming artists who are now making a name for themselves. I
still refuse to do hate related tattoos and will refuse ideas and/or
placements that insult the trade. Lastly I endeavor to improve my skills on a
daily basis.
The art of tattooing is a high
risk profession and should not be taken lightly. I believe in stringent
guidelines for sterilization and anti cross contamination procedures. I update
my certifications frequently and have been a member of the Alliance of Professional
Tattooist (APT) since 1997.
Some people like me and some
can't stand me, but they all know that every time they sit in my chair they
will get my very best each and every time I work on them. I give them the
respect of a safe, world class tattooing experience with minimal discomfort
and quality that will last them a lifetime.
So, if you a looking for a
bargain, please look elsewhere. If you are looking for a crisp, bright, solid,
one-of-a-kind original or even a classic tattoo......
Make an appointment and
please.......have a seat.
Faithful servant to the trade
